The village we stayed in was a hidden gem, with friendly locals and a fantastic Maypole celebration. The meals at the restaurant were out of this world, with dishes like wild garlic ravioli and lake trout that were absolutely delicious. We couldn't resist dining there twice in just two days. Plus, it was great that one of the owners took the time to explain the significance of the tradition to us during the Maypole celebration.
There was nothing negative to mention about our stay. The hotel was family-run, with welcoming and friendly owners.
